[Save the date] Alice & Eve 2024: October 25 in Leiden

The organizers of Alice & Eve 2024, would like to cordially invite you to join the Alice & Eve event on October 25th, 2024 in Leiden.

Alice & Eve is an annual one-day workshop to celebrate and draw focus to women in computing, an important but also fun tradition started in 2020. It features an exhibition about glorious women in the history of computing and their (often overlooked) contributions.  We will shine the spotlight on female figures with renowned and important contributions in the field today. The picture will be completed by students and early-career researchers presenting posters, highlighting their ideas on shaping our field’s future.

The event will encompass exciting keynote talks, a panel session, a poster competition, and enough time to linger and discuss ideas over a drink. You can find more information here:

The poster competition and registration will open in early September.
